Quoting MZJ:" When I first started telling people I was pregnant. A relative said, "Well if I didn't think you weren't ... [snip!] ... me to prove them wrong. I was already doing it for myself and daughter but that was just the kick in the teeth I needed!"

It wouldn't show the rest of the quote, but this is exactly what my son's father and his mother told me when I got pregnant. It just made me push harder to do better and show them that I could do anything.

Not that I actually got to show them anything, we don't even talk anymore. XD

Quoting MZJ:" I initially was planning on becoming an RN but it grossed me out too much. That is a great field to get into. Good luck and congrats on starting school again."

thanks, my sil went back to school for RN, she failed all her classes for the first semester so she got kicked out. she is a bit squimish and she would tell me about everything they would do. She couldn't wipe her patients butt, she was too grossed out.

One problem when you are graduating college is what are you gonna suppose to do after. Are you going to school again for masters, have a rest or start working already.

Depends on your field of study...quite a few require you to continue schooling in order to actually do something with the degree.

Why would you need a rest? It was just school?

When I graduated, I was lucky enough to do it in between the time of summer break (which is about two weeks for my school) and I also took a vacation from my job. It was nice reconnected with my son.

I still have my full time job and I am going back for my bachelors, because I need my bachelors to actually get the career that I want. If people go to college, and just receive an associates in their career field, they obviously don't have to continue college after, unless they want to.
