Dandelion Tea?

I saw a recipe that called for dandelion root tea as part of a cleanse and I was wondering if anyone has ever tried it?

I read that it is somewhat bitter yet somewhat sweet I just do not know about digging something I have always considered a pesky weed up and using it for anything.

I've had dandelion greens in a salad before. They are tasty.

I don't know about dandelion root tea but I drink dandelion tea and it's delicious. If it's too bitter I'm sure a dash of honey will help it go down
