If you sell baby clothes...

I've sold plenty of mama clothes on here but I'm new to selling baby clothes. I have TONS of great stuff from my son and since we're having a girl this time around I'd like to get rid of some of his things to buy girls things. I had a couple of questions..

Do you have a minimum amount on how much you ship? Like a minimum of $10 worth of things or something like that? I would price most of my things for under $5 and the shipping is normally around that, so to me it wouldn't make sense for someone to buy something for $2 and ship it for $5 (hope that makes sense)

Also, how do you ship? With my mama clothes I shipped USPS Priority mail but I was wondering if there is a less expensive way to do it, like larger envelopes or something. From what I remember the smallest boxes still shipped for about $5.

And the actual post office has the cheapest standard rates I believe. Family sends me medium size boxes filled with stuff for 20 or less depending on the weight. The prices are more for priority.

As long as it is under 13 oz you can ship first class mail parcel. It's normally under $3.50 to ship that way. I use Paypal to ship my labels. It's cheaper then the post office and tracking is included. You would need to know the weight of the package though. You could just use the brown manilla envelopes from Wal-mart. You may want to try selling it as a big lot on Ebay too.
