Juicing watermelon is especially nutritious because you can juice the entire melon…fruit, rind and seeds, all of which offer incredible benefits. In fact, studies show that the most nutrient dense part of the melon is the rind, and the seeds contain beneficial fat. When only the red part it eaten, we throw away the goodness that makes this such a spectacular food. The whole fruit is also far lower in sugar than the red fruit juiced on its own.

Acid-forming diets are the major cause of a very unhealthy condition called acidosis and are the leading cause of many diseases such as Crohn's disease, diverticulitis, cancer, strokes, diabetes, and many others. If you cannot properly dige
st and assimilate the nutrients from the foods you eat, you will not supply the maximum quality fuel that your body needs for optimum health and peak athletic performance.

This is why it is important to understand the health principles behind the Acid Alkaline Balance Diet.

I have a quick question.. when you make these juices, does it usually come out kind of thick? Not like, the watery kind of juice you buy in stores?
My mom just recently got a juicer & we did a bunch of stuff, & it was good, but some of it was kind of thick..

Super energy bar in the making. From the bottom: almonds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, goji berries, hemp seeds, chia seeds. Also putting in dates and cranberries. Really really wish I had dehydrated blueberries instead of cranberries

ive started selling some of my energy bars and because theyre such a hit i wanted to share some with you.

20 dates pitted and chopped up
1 cup almonds raw
1 cup cashews raw
1 cup dehydrated ( or dried ) blueberries
1/4 cup hemp seeds
1/4 cup chia seeds
( makes about 10 bars)
in food processor blend chopped and pitted dates until they are pasty.
in food processor blend 1/2 cup almonds and 1/2 cup cashews until chopped to small pieces.
in food processor blend remainder of almonds and cashew nuts with 1 cup dehydrated blueberries until blueberries and nuts are chopped to small pieces
put all ingredients in a bowl along with hemp and chia seeds and with your hands mix all ingredients together.
line a small baking sheet with wax paper and mold out the energy bar mixture into the baking sheet. i like to have the bars at least a 1/2 inch thick. (i like to put another piece of wax paper on top the the bar and use a rolling pin to evenly spread out the mixture)
once evenly spread, put in fridge for a few hours until the block of energy bars in solid. then you can cut the block into bars   i like to cut them into 1 3/4 " x 4"
