ugh. If I can at least lighten up the darkness and puffiness under my eyes, I'd be happy. My freckles die down in the cooler months but are full blown wild in the summer. I love them usually.

I have dark circles. i use the neutrogena concealer.

Also ive heard for puffiness, dont highlight the area where its puffy. After you conceal, put a lighter color right underneath where its puffy and highlight that area and it gives the illusion that its receding. if that makes sense.

ive heard this several times. never put a highlight color on them because it will just make them more visible.

I've never really tried anything so anything is worth trying for me. Thanks for the tips!

I cannot live without my MAC brushes, and Haute and Naughty mascara. If you can get 'as much as you want', and you'll be spending at least 50 dollars, go to the counter and have them do your makeup for you. They'll teach you techniques, give you recommendations based on your features, and you get your makeup done. Win, win.

I love it. I like powder stuff but Bare Minerals made me break out like a teen. I've been using Pur Minerals for about 3 years? It's perfect coverage for me... but if I need extra coverage I will use liquid foundation and then use Pur Minerals on top

Alright dirty pirate hookers. I know I haven't posted much, but that's because I've been lazy as smurf with my makeup lately. I go through some major phases. Haha.
I got convinced that the Naked 2 pallet was the smurf, so I took my ass to Ulta today to take a look, and ended up buying it.

My normal makeup is actually pretty minimalist. I've been using Bare Minerals, because I'm afeared to do anything liquid in the hot humid hell of Texas. So, for that I used the SPF foundation (medium) a coral-ish blush with a slight shimmer, and the illuminating mineral veil. I ALWAYS fill in my brows, but I use a powder, not pencil. This is what I've got right now, since the store didn't have my usual Maybeline when I needed it

Usually I'll just smudge this on my lids....if I'm feeling particularly motivated I'll throw a little brown in the crease Haha

and I used the same mascara as Jenell is right now. I tend to switch it up a lot, because I'm always looking for better.

This is what my face always looks like
that was a good day, with some brown in the crease

Annnd after I went shopping I came home re-did my eyes. Sooo I used the Naked 2 pallet (no smurfing clue which colors, I was just playing with it)
Then I used this, which is the smurf (and I rarely wear eyeliner)

and I got the little Smashbox sample box today, as well...so I used the pencil liner from that on the bottom and the mascara (which was alright)

Don't mind the rest of my face...I didn't redo my face makeup, just took off my old eye makeup and put on new.

Don't you love the Naked 2 palette and the smashbox pencil liner?!
