She's Home!!Ariadne Marie!!

Hey every one thanks for the help and support, my baby girl is here 12 days early! Here's my story, some dets are pretty fuzzy tho!I didn't sleep for about 40 hrs! lol
I started light contractions at 11:33am May 8th, they were timing between 9-15 mins apart. By 2:30pm my contractions were 7-12 mins apart and by 4:30 4.5-7 mins apart. At this point my Mom took us to the hospital. We stayed until 7:30pm when I was sent home. I was 1cm and still having contractions 4-6mins apart. around 10/10:30pm my Mom and I went for a walk. By 11:30pm I was so tired I was falling asleep between contractions. At 2:00 am I woke up between contractions, My Water Broke!

Immediatly My Mom rushed me to the hospital(she stopped at Tim Hortons on the way) we reached the hospital at 2:45am I was contracting between 2-4 mins apart. At 4:30am my evil night nurse tried to send me home "becuz I wasn't taking anything for pain and was only 2cm and 75% effaced" My Mom refused and we stayed and I had a 45 min long shower. By 6am I was having strong contractions and needed pain killers. She checked me and I was about3-4cm dialated and fully effaced and they discussed pain killers. I was having alot of back labor by now but I still refused the epi, and my Mom had worries that demerol would have the same reaction as morphine(I have a severe vomiting reaction to morphine and the drug has no pain killing effect) I got the demerol/gravol shot around 6:30am and threw up 10 mins later, demerol has the same effect as morphine, we discovered! However the gravol helped and I was starting to fall asleep between contractions again. Throwing up helped alot too, relieved alot of nausea pressure. By 8 am I was 7-8cm dialated and head was starting to decend and the pressure in my butt was almost unbearable, my Dr tried the laughing gas, I took 4-5 puffs and pushed it away...Did NOT enjoy the mask on my face.

They checked me again around9:10/9:20 when I said I REALLY had to push.. by this pointI was thrashing, twisting, screaming and crying with every contraction. May I remind you NONE of the painkillers worked and I was in extremly strong back labor. I was fully dialated and effaced but there was still a lip of skin that they wanted me to wait for. 4 contractions later they check me again and said I could start pushing soon. I started pushing at 9:54(about) and out she came at 10:08am.

Now sheis home and less then 48 hours old!!And perfectly healthy!! Sorry the pics are so big. I didn't tear at all and am feeling great!

She was 7 lbs 13 oz 20 inches long and my miracle baby...

she is BEAUTIFUL hun!! im sooo proud of you. my pain meds didnt work either... i think they gave me demerol too but less than 10 mins after i got it my contractions were like a min apart and wasnt able to close my legs... so much for pain reliefe huh LOL i spelt that wrong....

I was going to ask, how do you pronounce her name?

Aw she is so beautiful! I definitly give you major props to be able to go through all that with out an epi and pretty much without painkillers! She is just so adorable!
