Balboa Naval Hospital.....

Anyone know if they offer water birth there? Or have any recommendations on OBGYNs?

No they don't offer water birth. But the baby gets to sleep with you in the room because they don't have nurseries.

my mom had my sister there and i wanted to have my baby there but i have no insurance i dont think they offer water births and yes it is in san diego

Well, it sure will be nice to have the baby in the room with me! I just hope the M-I-L can wait her excited little butt for a day though.. I dunno if I will want to deal with anyone other than my own family..

when my little sister was born it was via c section and we got to see her while my mom was being stiched up i guess, but im sure you can ask the nurses if you dont want any one there
