re: when did you start packing and preparing for the baby ?

Im due 3 days after you and i plan on being packed and ready to go by next week so b4 37 weeks but not too much. I have a list so it shouldnt take too long or be that big of a deal. Just dont wait too much longer.

i am almost 38 weeks and i have had her bag pack for like 3 weeks now and have most of mine

Im 37 weeks 2 days and everything is officially ready I just got back ftom buying some thingsthat I still needed like the boppy. My bag for the hospital is ready to go too, just need to pack some snacks for hubby! Im ready!! Lol

thanks everyone !! just to let you know i did start packing already ! the day after i posted this i started getting really bad braxton hicks contractions and my belly feels really tight ! i just need to set up the crib noww ! (:

it was tiring ! lol i had to go buy an extra storage closet thing at walmart so all his clothes would fit !! i also had to sell one of my dressers so his crib could fit in my room ! wasnt to much fun ! lol but everythings pretty much ready now

His room is all pretty but his closest isnt becuase we have so many different clothes and no place in his closet to put them. I guess that is a good problem to have, he is so bless with so many people wanting to help up out with out first little one!!! Good Luck to you in the next few weeks!

lol this is an issue im having as well... I had an itinerary drawn out regarding the order in which i was going to do things.

Presently 33 1/2 weeks...

Friday 13th - 34 weeks = set up vibrating bouncy chair (set it up tonight instead/)

Friday 20th - 35 weeks = clean out car/trunk and put stroller in trunk (we have a lot of swimming/fishing stuff in my trunk right now)

Friday 27th - 36 weeks = Set up Swing (probably going to end up doing that this week though because my son is gone camping and i'll be bored and home alone)

Friday 3rd - 37 weeks = Set up Bassinet

Friday 10th - 38 weeks = wash all baby clothing

Friday 17th - 39 weeks = Pack Hospital bag

Friday 24th = due date...


HOWEVER, I have been cautioned by MANY of my friends and family that I should get on my hospital bag asap. My MIL (she's psychic and does readings and such) told me to have it done by the first week in August at the latest.

I ended up getting a big bag from my mom today so I am going to re-arrange my itinerary and start my bag sooner than 2 weeks prior to my due date.
