re: 1 month to go! August babies

I'm due on the 23rd, so excited! I've got really bad spd and braxton hicks really hurt. My little girl is breech so it should be a c section again but this time at 39 weeks, so in about two weeks time!!! We ordered our tandem pram yesterday and got a stand for our moses basket. I think that's our shopping finished!

Hello August Mama's,

I'm due the 15th of Aug. and went today for my 38 week appt. My doc decided to schedule me for induction next Thursday @ 6:30 a.m. I'll be 39 wks and 1 day, either way I'm READY! I already washed all my baby girls clothes and started putting her furniture together. Her name is "Dayla Monroe" first and middle. She's also the fourth sibling to her two older sisters and baby brother.

I'm soooo ready for her, but now is the time I need to be resting up, because once I get her out I know I'm going to want to put her back in lol jk!

I know how you feel!!! I am due on August 13th too! (a girl) and I am so so ready for her to be here!! My feet are 3 times their normal size and every single movement hurts!!

well i'm nt having any swelling but i have been extremely sick throughout my entire pregnancy so i am ready for this to be over. i was blessed to not have any BP or SUGAR problems but i have starved this entire 9 month period. carrying my baby has been a great and exciting experience but i am ready for him to be here now. I have constant braxton-hicks and they are just growing stronger yet he has not come yet. i just wanna scream. i go in next week to be induced but i am hoping he will go ahead and come on his own over the weekend.
MY PLAN is to try to get through my labor only using Sestimic Medication through an IV but i am completely open to getting an epidural if they say i am going to be in labor for over 12 hours. this is my 1st baby and they claim that your 1st child birth experience takes forever. i also plan to breastfeed so i do not want them to offer my baby any bottles or pacifiers. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE....

I had my son on august 15 which was my original due date i thought that was pretty cool and his time was 12:12pm thats an easy time to remember lol. i was lucky bc i labored mostly at home from 2am-8am then got to the hospital at 830am and had him 3 1/2 hours later vaginally and with IV meds tho i felt like they really did not help during the contractions. i also barely tore so that was good. but gotta say my son is not very easy..he is CONSTANTLY hungry..he is a month old and will nurse for 40 min and then eat 4 oz of formula..i had to start supplementing bc he was not gaining his weight back whatsoever and so he just eats and eats and eats...how is your little one?
