Why don't you get a home preg test to ease your mind?

I'd take a home pregnancy test just to ease your mind before Monday...

you can get emergency medicaid for the abortion or else its like 500---my friend went through this recently. You can stick your finger up there and see if you feel the strings and if you can it usually means its in place

Blood tests just make me feel more confident in the results. :/ Plus I wasn't sure if it would test positive if it happened to be ectopic, I just heard somewhere that they're more common with Mirena so that's what's stuck in my mind. :/

Even with an ectopic pregnancy, you would get a positive on a home pregnancy test. A blood test can't even tell you if you are having an ectopic. They can only verify that by u/s.

Alright, I just didn't know if your body would be able to tell you were pregnant if it wasn't happening in the uterus.  

And I know they wouldn't be able to tell if it was ectopic but my doctor told me that they could detect scarcer amounts of the hormone and if I only got pregnant recently I don't want to take a home test and it be negative then think that I'm not really pregnant.

Home pregnancy tests or HPTs detect any hcg in your body. As soon as an egg implants. Whether in the uterus or tubes, it will produce hcg.

Anything over 5 on a blood test is considered a positive. Then they double between 31-72 hours after that. As for being able to see an ectopic, you would have to be far enough along for a sac to form. At the end of 4 weeks, closer to 5 weeks usually.

Well I'm going to go buy a pregnancy test then and hope that it comes up negative. Thank you for the advice!
