3 months early

My friend just told me she had her baby girl 3 months early, she is 5 lbs which i think is big and she has a good chance of staying heathly. The doctors are keeping her in the hopital for a couple months because she was so early. I dont know to much about having a baby that early and would like to give her some hope that her baby will do well.

I have a strong feeling she is lieing because her whole pregnancy has been off in Dec. she was five months then she was only two...she is a known lier in my book, so i am also wondering if this is even possible.

Ya thats what she said...i think she is lieing, here whole pregnancy has been really weird...

theres no way a 3 month preemie is 5 pounds. i think she lied to you buddy!

sounds to me like it... that sounds very off

My 2 month preemie was 4.7 lbs. Sounds off to me

maybe she meant to say three WEEKS early?

i dunno if shes saying the baby has to stay in the hospital for a couple months for being so early i dont think she meant three weeks... i think her friend is full of it

I doubt a baby could be that big that early. I was 1 month early and 5lbs1oz.

Also..a baby born that premature wouldn't be "fine and healthy" there would be a good amount of problems in the beginning weeks.

my son was 10 weeks early (2 1/2 months) and was 3 lbs 8 oz (which is considered good sized for that gestational age) and he was not "fine"

My twins were three months early and weighed a little over 2 and a half pounds each. We were told to take one day at a time with their progress. They will be 8 weeks tomorrow and are just under 5 pounds.

My daughter was 2 months and 3 weeks early, (12 weeks) and she was 2lbs 12 oz - I smell a liar...

I belive she is lying I had my baby @ 25 weeks an she weight an 1pd an 9oz an she will be a month tomorrow an she is only 2pd an 1 1/2oz now.

My son was born a month early and was 7lbs 12oz but I also had GD so that's why...I think it's BS
