BULLsht sorry! my twins arrive 3 mo early too. There is not a chance in hell she could be 5lbs.My son dropped to just over 700 grams. I know of a 33 weeker who was 5lbs due to gest diabetes, but theres a big difference between a 33 weeker and a micro preemie.

Even with GD i wouldnt think her baby could have been over 3lbs, because issues with growth dont normally occur until the last 1/3 of the pregnancy. An oversized baby/fetus is called macrosomia, the earliest it has ever been found to occur is after 18 weeks and not typically until past 24 weeks. So even if her baby did start gaining too much at 24 weeks - it wouldnt have gone from 1.5lbs to 5lbs in a couple of weeks!!!

Why did she deliver so early? What other health issues does the baby have? if you can get some more information from her we can tell you what is possible, and what advice or hope we can pass on

she never said why she delievered early just that she went into labor...and she said nothing is wrong with they baby, that they just want to keep her because she was so early....
they baby was a twin she lost the other twin at 15 weeks, so i dont know if that makes any diffrence.

No it makes no difference to growth, i know this because i lost twin b (my baby girl) during the second trimester before i delivered. If they are identical there is an increased risk of brain damage, but only if identical and later on during the pregnancy. Are you sure she was ever even having twins? That baby looks like a term baby! no signs of prematurity at all! Ugh i hope wires have just gotten crossed, because your 'friend' appears to be lying about a situation ive actually been through/going through! Although we have been in hospital much longer than 2 months!

There is no way thats a 3 month earlybaby!!

Next time just laugh straight in her face! seriously!! even if the dates were wrong on her camera, thats still a term baby!!With alotof micro preemies (born less than 28 weeks and/or under 2lbs) you can still see signs of prematurity until they 'fill out' once they are past their due date, even well into 'toddlerhood' you can often still tell if a child was premature. I know i can lol

Sounds like she was 6 months at xmas like she originally said, and delivered full term in feb. Ask her about the medical treatmenther babyis receiving, what hospital is she is in, ask her what size clothes is she so you can buy her some! LOL that will get her stupid ass confused. That girl has really got me mad though, her fakeass story is similar to what we have really gone through, and i wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy. I mean we are still in hospital months and months later, so that chick is talking bullsht! I hope nobody is giving her any sympathy or falling for her lies!!
