anybody else doing orgainc?

So weve decided to start our daughter on Gerber's Organic stage 1 baby foods.
Anybody elese doing organic? i just find it better for her, & since we both are planning on doing the healthy organic thing ourselves, [we need to lose weight] i mean why not? If anybody else is, what other veggies could you find? Target only had sweet peas & carrots, for the stage 1, & were going to babies r us today cause they say they have squash & more choices, so well see. anyways. i wish everybody a mothers day & HAPPY FIRSTS MOTHERS DAY to the moms like me. :] <3

Yes, you could make your own as well..If you have a Fresh market, Wild Oats or Whole foods they have a large variety.

I did organic jarred on occasion for the convenience, but I made most of their baby food. Mashed bananas and avocados were something they got often...easy, no cooking required, just smash and serve!

PS You should get the book, "Raising Baby Green, By Allan Greene" it is very informative. It gives you lists of veggies that are pointless to by organic and which ones are a must. It goes over cleaners, nautural fabrics, energy saving tips, etc.

to tell you the truth i have no clue.. i just know its good for the brain and eyes.... and its also in my lizzy formula so im sticking with it.

yeah the harvest one smells like pumpkin pie! i love it.. 

Kailyn is an organic eater - we make our own baby food though - I think the Gerber stuff is gross! There is SO much more variety when you make your own food for them!

I do all organic for Dane. I make his food, but occasionally buy jars. Some stores have great selection of organic foods. Like Earth's Best and Organic Baby. The site www.wholesomebabyfood.com is a great site with great recipes for baby food. It's super easy, cheaper and more healthy. I used a Magic Bullet to grind all the food. I froze them in Avent breast milk storage cups.

My husband and I feed Kaiden organic. We make some of our own, but buy a lot of the Gerber, and Earth's Best. We eat organic ourselves as well. It's a lot more expensive, but we noticed a lot of difference when we switched over. We've just felt better all around since going strictly organic. I would love it if Gerber would make organic foods with DHA. Maybe I'll call their 1-800 number and suggest it!
