Cool. He's pretty much into just table food now. But that is still veggies, veggie patties and fruits, all organic. I'm weird. I just don't want my baby getting used to junk. I think he will do that on his own in elementrary school. Or maybe not. ha

thanks ladies. ive thought about making her baby food, but i didnt know. maybe ill get those books you guys were talking about. my moms a vegetarian & were living with them so it should be easy, veggie patties and tofu everywhere! haha. im sooo excited for her to try table food, but not yet. she has no interest in sitting up by herself it seems, so when she can maybe ill branch out! lol. ps. how was everyones mothers days?!! mine was wonderful! <3

ps. we do tummy time & back time, along with sitting her bumbo chair & us supporting her, but why isnt she rolling over & or sittin on her own yet? i know every baby is different in those areas, but shes 6 months & 6 days, how old were yours when they rolled over /sat up with no support? thanks!

We're doing organic all the way... I shop @ Whole Foods.... There's baby food called HAPPY BABY for 9 months+ in the frozen section... there in cubes... Madelyn LOVES it... we're also doing the organic oatmeal and cereals, teething biscuits,,,, cookies,,,,crackers....as well...

Cloth Diapers as well... I love Bum Genius diapers

I only give Tyler organic gerber food. He is also on stage 1. He has had bananas, applesauce, pears, prunes, carrots, sweet peas, and sweet potatoes. he loves them all! I was thinking of starting him on stage 2, but ithink the selection gets smaller as the stages go up, so i'm gonna try to make my own, as well as give him the gerber organic.

We do organic and I also started to make Mike's food. I have a hard time finding organic fruits and veggies though or the selection is limited so Ialso buy the jars. There are some things like papaya or avacado that I can't find organic and are not made in the jars so he gets them non-organic. I really need to make my way to whole foods but the one that is close to me is such a pain to get to with the traffic.

I don't know why they don't put organic in glass. If 1 group of parents are going to not buy in plastic it is the parents buying organic.

I am planning on feeding Miranda oranic. So far I have bought Earth's Best Rice cereal. And I have this awesome thing to make her baby food. It is so easy. I bought organic apples and make applesauce the other day.
