Did you enjoy me making your lunches? Did you enjoy not having to cook dinner for yourself ever? Did you enjoy having cups of tea made for you, your feet rubbed after a hard day of work and not giving your wife-to-be a single scrap of gratitude? DId you enjoy having clean clothes that magically turned up in your drawers while you complained that your wife-to-be did nothing? The food in your tumy while complaining that she never cooks? The clean house you live in while complaining that all your problems are because she doesn't clean enough?


Well, tough smurf if you did. Cos that's over now. Want lunch to take to work? Make it. Want a cup of tea? Make it. Want dinner? Make it. Want to know where you keep your trousers cos you don't even know that? Find them.

Oh but don't worry. I'm doing the washing. Absolutely none of it is yours. Lets see how long you continue to make me feel unnappreciated when there's no one to clean your socks yeah?


Oh and SmUrf YOU. No one speaks to me that way. Especially not in front of our kids. I thought you had more sense than that.

That's ok! I shouldn't have to do absolutely everything just because he works 9-5. I work ... 24/7. I still have to get up at least 3 times a night with our youngest, he can't get up in the morning with the boys in the weekends cos they're "his days off". Must be wonderful to have those.

Nope you should not respect like I tell my DH is a two way street.

Yeah, ever since doing that 50s thing, he has just taken it for granted. He honestly believes that since he brings in a paycheck he does more than I do. Going to work is ALL he does.

Stick to it for a while. Not a thing wrong with showing him what he's taking for granted on a daily basis.
