I would absolutely tell your doctor if you're feeling this way. It's common and not something to be embarrassing or ashamed about like so many seem to be. Honesty is the best policy with your doctor, especially when it comes to something like this.
Good luck!

Hey, you do sound like you have PND. I did too, my little girl is 9 weeks and that is what I was doing. I got so angry over everything, I even picked up the baby rocker (baby was not in it) and threw it at my SO. I lost it completely. I would definately discuss this with your dr and maternal health nurse if you have them there too. But you definately need to start talking about it, as it just builds up and with sleep deprivation, it makes everything so much worse. I talked to my nurses, my family and my SO about it all. You need to talk about how you are feeling and what you feel like you are struggling with. Parenthood is bloody hard, and I dont think anyone can really prepare for what its all about. Hang in there. You are probably a great mum, you may just need a little extra support right now.

i had to fill out a piece of paper with questions at my 6-8 week checkup about pnd and apparently i scored a 9 she said if i had scored a 10 she would make me see someone as she thinks i am borderline pnd i dont feel like i do, but my son is a struggle most days, hes had colic and is a very difficult baby never sleeps in the day and wakes every 3 hrs during the night i love him with all my heart but do feel angry with him sometimes when he wont stop crying but i just put him down and cool down for a few mins then go back. hes 10 weeks. if you ever need to chat pm me.
