Quoting ☮Sugar Magnolia:" I'd never take my child to a prison, but it's a personal decision. I'd wait a few months before doing so if I were you, germs and such are no good for newborns."Well that was my first thought. I'd never take a newborn there.. I told him if I take her at all, ever, it would be when I'm ready. And I mean, I've seen where it would be, and it's not like I pictured. Its very clean, quiet, secure and private.. but still... its just everything about it. I'm not sure about anything..
Quoting ☮Sugar Magnolia:" You aren't licensed under 18. Hush. Besides that, ignore them. If you're so well off, who cares? People ... [snip!] ... who cares? People said the same smurf to me, I brushed it off. I love it, hard times and all. You should just smile and nod. "Actually I am licensed. I went to school for two years and went to state board and took my test and received my license with the rest of my class- Cosmetology was offered as a career tech program at my high school, and we had the option to sign up for it, and with the right grades we got in. We had to pay a fee for the schooling of course, but please, do not tell me to 'hush' after I worked my ass off for this, and it's something I'm damn proud of.

Quoting Stu Padasso:" <blockquote><b>Quoting ☮live:</b>" I thought it was at least 17?"</blockquote> 17 and 6 months for nail technician. 18 for esthetics/cosmotology"Ohio you only have to be 16 to start schooling; therefore you don't have to be 18 to receive your license. Not every state has the same laws.
Quoting ☮Sugar Magnolia:" I don't get why people lie so much, especially with such common information on a public forum. Did she ... [snip!] ... if she left that part out. She's 17, she's not expected to have a career yet. I'm 19 and don't, as most 19 year olds don't."Again; why would I lie. That's just stupid. I put that part in because it's something I'm proud of and worked damn hard for.
Quoting Stu Padasso:" <blockquote><b>Quoting MeganBlogna:</b>" Ohio you only have to be 16 to start schooling; ... [snip!] ... Cool though. I'm happy for you. Are you going to continue your education? What do you plan on doing since you're certified?"I'm trying to find a job in a salon, I'm really trying to avoid working in a chain salon, like great clips or famous hair, but right now that seems to be my best option
