Have you talked to your doctor about it? I would see about maybe starting to wean you off. Slowly lowering the dose and eventually getting off of them.

NO! because we all know if you are in PM raising the issue with the Dr will put up red flags ..sad but if I talk to the Dr then she may not give me easy access to them when and if I really need them some day

and I do not want that since my pain has been sooo bad at times i've considered suicide

Not being rude, but if you weren't ready or able to wean yourself off the meds why would you get pregnant? Pregnancy is painful,so it will just make things worse for you. And I would think a doctor would rather help you wean and then write you an rx if and when the pain gets super bad rather than continue to write you rx through out your pregnancy and then deal with the effects it will have on the baby during development and at birth going through withdrawl

I don't see how wanting to lower dosages while your pregnant would raise red flags. But I do not know the reason why you are taking them (which you do not have to share) so that was the best advice I could offer.

I think she said before that she has endo...

I understand that she is in pain but how will it raise red flags if she is trying to get off of them?

yes, a Dr might think that I have an issue and am trying to get myself together they may then think they need to be more careful with prescribing them to me.. my Dr may have more control in how much I get and how often I do not want that

I have horrible pain and really do not want my Dr to have that much control with my meds just hate being on them to begin with

pregnant women on these meds are not bad and I needed to get pregnant at a specific time did not have lots of time.. my pain has been a lot better which is common for women with endo

pregnancy helps

I am just dependant now   which I did not really take into account and wish I could just get off of them but I am paranoid that it will be hard for me to get them just incase my pain does come back full force one day

I do not want it to be hard for me to get them if I do indeed need them

You dont have to TAKE anything or FILL anything.

You have a SAY about what you put in your body. If you knew you would have a problem then why did you get pregnant?

Yea you have to be in PM to understand they are very suspicious (sp) of people in PM they can start involving themselves which is a pain in the ass they start treating you like a child and it only makes things harder on the patient

you would think you could come to them for help to cut back or get off of them but they will start treating you like an addict like you have a problem

I just hate that I am on them emotionally makes me feel like a bad person for some reason like an addict tho I do not really abuse my meds
