Let the rib kicking begin!

26 weeks tomorrow & just got my very first few rib kicks from this bub!  

Thank gosh my placenta is at the front & is cushioning the kicks.. DS was BRUTAL!

As much as I hated that when I was pregnant I miss it now

I hated every minute of DS' pregnancy.. this one is 110% different.. I'm so thankful i've been able to enjoy it this time around  

DS foot actually got stuck up under my ribs and when he came out it was fully bent up towards his face  .. the physio gave us tips to massage it etc to help get the muscle to stretch so it'd go back into a normal position.

No wonder I was so uncomfie with him LOL!

Oh wow. That's bad I guess he liked your ribs alot lol. It always seemed like DS had his feet stuck in my ribs but I think he just enjoyed playing with them haha

Haha yeah im enjoying the TINY niggles & gentle kicks this time around  ..

Its definitely a nice change!

With my first, i carried him high and his kicking in my ribs would take my breath away and it felt like i was always trying to push him down out of my ribs!
I hated 3/4ths of that pregnancy.

My second, i carried super low, and had him kick me maybe twice throughout the entire time i was pregnant! It was definitely more comfortable not being kicked in the ribs lol!

Amazing how each pregnancy can be complete opposite's!

Aww, I miss that feeling! Our sons have very close birthdays!

This is my first pregnancy, and my baby girl is not so much kicking my ribs as she just pushes on them a lot. Feels like it must be a knee. Goes up my side side and PUUUUUUSH, up into my ribs. Hurts! But at least she's not kicking them. I loved the first bumps too though.   Such an amazing feeling.
