Honest answers please

i was wondering at what week in prgnncy do you get your mucus plug? I was using google to research it but i couldnt find it anywhere. Wish me lots of baby dust...so far AF is 8 days late.

When? Oh wow, I don't know.....I think it just builds up throughout your pregnancy.

It starts forming as soon as the blastocyst (5 day old baby cells) implants in the uterus. The implantation process causes the release of hormones that tells your body to start changing itself to support the new life, one of the first changes being that your cervix will develop a mucus plug.

oohh beacause i was wondering..i thought it just shows up soon as you get pregnant or something (i have no idea)

you cant see it or feel it.

and if youre late. a test would show whether youre pregnant or not.

i want to take a test but i was waiting because i always hear everyone saying that they got a BFN because they tested too early and they had to re-test in a week or so..

thats because they tested before they missed their period. once you miss your period you can test and itll tell you.

Once your body starts producing progesterone for the pregnancy  
Or when the eggie attaches.. either way you want to put it.

i know you had a miscarriage and im so sorry to hear that, but why is it that youre trying for a baby seeing as youre only 18.

umm what does your mucos plug have to do with taking a pregnancy test?

I took my test when i was 2 days late... it will show if you are or not.

ok, im new and im reading through some of the postings and i hav no idea what most of you are talking about..whats a mucus plug??should i be 'feeling' this??lol..and if anyone can help me atall with the picture uploading, id REALLY appreciate it!!caus it makes no sense to me.. i dont see how i can upload images off the internet, i want to upload them off my pc..argh!!confusing..lol..xx
