tooth pulled while pregnant

I have got to do something about my mouth. No matter how much I brush and floss and take care of my teeth, they look like I never touch them! Since I was little, I've had problems with them. Most of my family does. But its been worse since I got pregnant last year. Way more plaque, my front two top teeth have green on them!! (Even if i do those at home whiten kits) My teeth 1 and 16 (last tooth on each side on the top) have gotten huge holes in them. I have used the temp filling from the drug store but the pain is unreal now. I'm 26wks3days pregnant. Is it safe to have one or both of those two pulled?

yes its safe im 36 weeks and im getting a tooth pulled friday

OK queen of smurfed up teeth here..........I am dealing with the same thing in about 4 teeth as we speak im in so much pain.. BUT REASON i responded was that if you can try to get thru your 2nd tri they dont like to do the work until your third then you can get them pulled try to get on an antibiotic to get you thru good luck ;)

going into your 28th .........

Make sure you go at the beginning of the 3rd trimester though, because when I was 33 weeks they wouldnt do anymore for me, which all they were doing were fillings, but I needed like 8 more done.. I had a tooth pulled while pregnant with my 1st & it sucked! But I've always had problems with my teeth too..

I don't see why you couldn't get your tooth pulled. It's really no different then geting a filling. All they do it give you Novocain and pry your tooth out. You don't need to be put under
