Being induced on July 10th at 7:30 am

What should I be expecting ( pain, what happens before I get induced) I have no clue what to expect, I thought I was going to have a natural birth ie not being induced so I didn't read anything about this  

itll be like real birth except theyre just going to try and speed it up... and if this is your first it will probably be a long process

If you don't want to be induced you can refuse. I was induced and it wasn't to terribly bad until my water was broken.

Really , whats the average time do you think? First pregnancy/baby

Thats my birthday   idk much about bein induced but of course you'll get something to start contractions and I'm sure every induction goes different

well everyone is different.. but i know 2 people who were induced and both took over a day from the time they started it, to the ti,me the baby was born

Are you dilated at all?

I started being induced on a Wednesday and didn't have LO until that Saturday evening. I REALLY hope that your induction doesn't go that long- but just preparing you for anything that could happen. [It was my first pregnancy as well.]

It took me 22 hours to give birth to my son.

I wouldnt do it. but good luck.

I was induced with my DD (first child).
Thursday around 4pm they gave me cervidal to ripen my cervix.
Friday around 4:30/5am they started pitocin.
Water broke around 11am on it's own.
Was in a lot of nonstop pain (contractions on top of each other) for awhile.
At about 3:30/4pm I got my epidural.
Had DD at 11:21pm with just a few pushes.

I have no idea. You can always post a topic asking though. I know a lot of people will say not to do it but there are some women on here who do check themselves.
