I don't really understand myself. I mean. I don't dislike how some of the members here can be blunt when giving their opinions on names. I don't know about anyone else, but when I asked for feedback on the names I've considered for my future babies, I really did appreciate the honesty in what they thought and how the names truly came off. When I asked for opinions, I accepted and expected ones to be direct and not sugar coated at the least bit lol  

But I have noticed that a simple thing such as a 'name' could send a thread here on "Baby Names" to TDC "The Drama Corner" either because of a name some people think to be HORRIBLE and/or to defend their child(ren)'s name(s). And that's what I truly don't understand :/
I mean, I dislike the name Nevaeh and would suggest to an expecting mother who's having girl to not go with it. But if she chooses to do so...whatever. I won't react that much to it and as for becoming defensive because someone said they disagreed, disliked, or even attacked the name I picked out...well, as long as we're clear that it's my kid and not whoever's bitching then it's no skin off my back.  


My advice would be OP, if you had any experience with someone saying something negative about your ideas for your kids' names or whatever led you to create this thread; Be prepared to hear honest feedback from these ladies. They don't hold nothin' back xD And when you look at it from a certain perspective, it's kinda helpful and a bit beneficial. That's what you need to brace yourself for and expect when you ask for an opinion on BG.
And if it's really just cattiness and people being bitches for the sake of being bitches and all that kind of BS, just ignore it. Just don't play into it. Believe me, it helps

We said MaKayla looks silly, especially when your using to honor Michelle and that Cheyenne is disrespectful and misspelling it makes it even worse and this wasn't even to her, it was to another member who took the advice gracefully.

lol. Earlier I was on and someone was trying to tell a different OP that elayna wasnt a variation of Helen, so like 5 people including myself linked her the origins and that they were variations and she was like "I dont agree"
