What kind of pads did you use?

posted 4th Jul '12
So I'm a little early in the game to be thinking about this lol. I was just wondering, after you had your babies, what kind of pads did you use? I am talking about for the post partum bleeding. Are there certain "maternity" pads you can buy? Or are regular pads that you would use for your period suffice? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question haha but this will be my first baby and I'm curious! Thanks in advance ladies!

This... but I also used the ones I stole from the hospital   Those were great, especially right at first when my bleeding was the heaviest.

That's what I was thinking. All of the pregnancy magazines keep telling me to use them haha. I've used them for my period before and wasn't to sure about them.

The hospital gave me pads to take home. I uses those for about a week. Then I used Always. Just the regular kind.

That's what my one girlfriend suggested lol. She had told me to get the ones from the hospital if I could for the first few days!

I used "Tena" pads because I had an episiotomy and with that you have to use certain pads incase your stitches get stuck in the pad like if you were to use always. It sucked cause always is the best brand I find!
