Opinions..

This will probably be a post and run since its bedtime and I'm a busy lady.. but TIA.

In your opinion.. is a 5 month old capable of making a sound or gesture for attention? I'm wrestling with this idea. The paranoid mama in me says I need to take him to the doctor.. but seeing how this is my second child and I'm just not wanting to go through the drama of getting the car or taking my terrible twoster to the pediatrician with me.. I'd rather not take him. But, I'm scared somethings wrong other than he's teething like a crazed person.


He is making this noise like he is trying to fart and/or clear his throat or cough pretty often.. and its freaking me out.

That's my sons new thing. Sounds like he is growling. I don't worry about it...

I agree my 5 month old does this too. She growls at me when I dont feed her fast enough lol

Maybe he made that sound once and liked it enough that he keeps doing it. I wouldn't worry about it if he seem fine otherwise.

He is a complete psychopath right now honestly, and he is usually a very mellow happy baby. I know he is getting teeth though. They are taking their sweet ass time which is annoying. I think he just does it when he cries real hard though. He growls really hard and really loud and starts to cough.

Good to know its not just my kid.

My two year old told me 'teeth hurt' and I was like what your teeth hurt?! He said ' No, Christians teeth' lol I never say that I always say they are bothering him, not hurting him. I have an insider to help me know whats wrong apparently!

He probably just gets extra fluid in his mouth and is trying to get it away. I really wouldn't worry about it. My son makes similar sounds just for the hell of it.

Peyton will cough just to get attention. And he did at 6 months too. Lol. He liked to make random noises; coughs or growls and when he figured it out he did it over and over.
