My name is Ciera, it's a variation of the name "Sierra" and "Ciara". Would this count as a misspelling perhaps? I had people who couldn't pronounce and/or spell my name after the fifth time on a number of occasions (if I can even call it 'occasion' since it happens with such frequency)... -___-

I can easily figure out what your name is, I don't really know what other people's criteria is - but I personally wouldn't base hiring someone off of their name, but I do know that it happens.

Seriously wish I was exaggerating though...

...I just hope something like this doesn't happen to me when I try to apply for a job shortly to earn money for college, or when I try to start a writing career in the future. It being complicated because of my name.
Maybe I should get a pen name...or stop worrying for now, idk...

If your really that worried, do you have a middle name you can use? (professionally)

If I were to write, I would go for a pen name - but that's mostly because I would love to choose an alias.
