My labor story!

Well im not too good at these but try to keep with me haha

On june 18th i was to go to the hospital at 8pm to be induced, At this point i was 8 days overdue with no dilation. Well when i got to the hospital i got put in the waiting room and didnt get settled in until 10, At this point my family had left and just me an my SO were there, the nurse came in to insert this gel n string thing into my cervix to help start dilation which hurt like a bitch, I think she was new because i was litterally slideing up the bed for like 20 minutes as she was trying to find my cervix n get this thing in there. My ob never had a problem... or never made me slide up on the bed   owi

Anyways after that got put in, me and SO watched tv for a bit then tried to get some sleep, He was very uncompfortable in his chair so he went down to the waiting room to sleep At this point it was 12 and i wanted to sleep but i started getting bad cramps and in those hospital beds you just cant get compfortable so i tossed and turned got up every like 20 min to pee and walk around, At 630 am the nurse came in to get me showered (thank god) The shower felt amazzzzzzing! after that around 745 my new nurse (Who i lovvvvvved) came in to get the induction started, At this point i was only a fingertip dilated.. (yay....not) and set up all my ivs which wow lots of blood lost there... Around 9 my ob had come in to break my water and that went fine only trickled and after that my contractions were starting to pick up pretty intence and was only at a 1, I had tons of company coming in which really was starting to annoy me as well... around 10 my full water had gushed out of me and i started running to the shower for some reason, i gusse was afraid of making a mess hehe. Well i almost took down my iv pole while runing hahah. and i sat in the shower without it not on for a good 20 min haha.
By 11 i was in so much pain and contractions were on top of each other, The nurse checked me and i was at a 1-2 and i was so upset i didnt want to get the epi until i was at least 4cms   i ended up getting the gas mask and was trying to get threw the contractions the nurse was trying to get me to just agree to getting the epi because of how strong my contractions were and she had convinced me saying how its 2012 now i dont need to prove anything and that won me over hahah.
I got the epi at 1145 and it was a breeze after that i felt no pain and finally got a little sleep, i was checked at 1oclock and was at a 3! i got catherter put in and tried to sleep again, was woken up at 2 to be checked again and was at a 5! and was feeling great!
But by 3oclock i started feeling a bit of pressure and it was very uncompfortable. at this point i was a 6/7 The pressure was so bad i was sitting in the bed saying how i wanted to push and my mom dad and SO just sat beisde me playing cards and trying to get me to play cards and i was livid. i didnt want to paly no dumb game of cards i felt as if this baby was falling out of my ass, I was sitting in the bed pushing by myself to releave the pressure the nurse came in at 330 and i told her i needed to push and she checked me and i was a 9! And by 4 i was at a 10 and screaming to push this baby out. my doctor got there at 4:15 and i started pushing with allll my might and by 4:30 the baby was out! my doctor was so surprised because apparently at my last doc apt she thought i was going to b a csection and the fact i pushed him out in about 20 minutes when most 1st time pregnancys people push for 1 - 2 hours ! So that made me feel really good! So that was my 9 hour labor! no tears, no hemroids no nothing!
Baby weighed in at 6 pounds 10oz and 21 inches long. He is so perfect!

lol congrats hun...and to upload pics u have to make a photobucket account and then upload the pics u want on there then right click the uploaded photo thats on ur photobucket and click the one that says copy url then when u reply on here click the image box next to the happy face thing and paste the url there then push add lol
