Severe nausea no vomiting

posted 4th Jul '12
For the past four days now, mostly at night though today its been here the whole time, I have had severe nausea. I don't feel sick nor have I been vomiting though last night I started with loose bowels.
I work in a centre with people with high level physical disability so I don't know whether to just ride this out and hope its just due to stress or something, or to go to the doctors to make sure I'm ok to work.
At first I thought it was PMS related becaise I thought my last period was in the 9th of June (my birthday), but in fact it wasn't til the 14th so that's that theory squashed.

Not to get you excited or anything but that was the first sign that I was pregnant.

Yeah but we didn't start trying til last Saturday ... Day 17 of your cycle is a bit late to be conceiving I thought.

Depends on when you ovulate. If you are tracking it you would have a better idea. If you know how long your cycles are then you could approximate it. I've heard of gallbladder problems causing nausea like that. Best bet would be to go to the doctor.

Stress?
Pregnancy?
Stomach bug (there is one doing the rounds, nausea, and diarrhoea, no vomiting)?

I hope you're okay.

Stress generally doesn't give me nausea, and anyway I'm less stressed than I have been for weeks. Pregnancy I don't think so becaue that means I would have conceived in day 17 and I thought that was impossible.stomach bug maybe but I don't feel sick in myself and the diarrhoea only lasted half of one night and that night I ate an awful lot of blue cheese and I normally HATE blue cheese. Diarrhoea has been gone two days nausea is still hanging round
