Pain medication

I so wish right now I had some vicodin or percacet   cant sleep stressed and cramping horribly it just sucks that certain people can get their hands on these pills and a lot of us do not even know how to go about getting some   how come some get pain pills and the rest of us don't lol

i want some pain pills so bad it is not even funny but it really is hard to get a pain script the only thing Drs want to give out is motrin

Honestly, it's best you avoid narcotics if at all possible. It sounds like you're a bit too set on them anyway. Have you looked into any other options for pain management regarding whatever condition you have? There are plenty of ways to treat and control pain that do not involve taking extremely addictive narcotics that have lots of heavy side effects.

One more thing: Ibuprofen is almost as strong as the drugs you listed. There's a reason doctors prescribe it so often and it's because it works. I took it after giving birth vaginally to my son and didn't take a single narcotic. It was more than enough to help with the pain I was having. Everyone is different but if you're in an extreme amount of pain then chances are a few hundred mg of Ibuprofen (prescription strength) will help just as much (if not more) than any narcotic will.

While pain medicine can be a wonderful thing it's also extremely dangerous. You're pretty much playing with fire whenever you take it, especially if you're so dead set on having them.

I recommend you talk to your doctor. If whatever you're doing now isn't controlling your pain then you need to tell them! They will decide what's best for you.

?? What do you need them for? You're having cramping? If you went to your doctor and they gave you motrin, then obviously, they thought that was the best treatment for you. Quit trying to self diagnose and treat yourself. Sounds like you want them because you want them for the high and nothing else. There are other treatment options available.

You seem way too set on getting it. I'm on pain meds for pain but I'm not like seeking out "OMG WHY ARE PEOPLE GETTING IT AND NOT ME!" Your doc gave you something else, because you need that NOT pain meds.

I am not tryin to self diagnose just in a lot of pain. 800mg motrin or ibuprofen is not working.

Then call your doctor and see what they recommend. If THEY think you NEED it, then THEY will give it to you. THAT is how people get it.

Dr's did not give me pain medication right away either I have stage 4 endo and now get 100 vic 5/500 and 100 percs 5/325

it takes a while lots of testing and documentation (unless you live in florida or vegas lol they hand them out like candy there) but research pain managment clinics in your area or make sure to tell your Dr you are having horrible pain

also have you been going to the hospital? is your pain that bad? this will further add to you needing to be in pain managment ... you also may need ultrasounds done and MRIs all that I do not know what you have but you need documentation showing there is a problem

None of us will help you get pain pills you may not need. Your doctor will prescribe what you should get for your ailment.

May I ask what is your health issue? that leads to you having so much pain and is it documented? like do you see a Dr for this specific illness? or have you...

shutup. women are always on here talkin about pain pills but when i do it i am a issue? tons of ladies are like wish i had some vicodin. no one ever says anything.

no real condition just pain.

Bring up your pain issues with your doctor.

It took months of testing for my doctor to diagnose my pain issues and give me medication. They're not gonna give them to you just because you say you're hurting. They need to find out WHY you're hurting. And, nowadays it's really hard to get narcotics without signing a pain management agreement and rigorous testing to find the issue(s) causing the pain.
