re: A reincarnation question

My grandmother passed away toward the end of February 2011. My youngest LO was conceived while I was on the pill and I had her January 11, 2012. I gave my daughter my grandmother's middle name. I don't know that I believe that my daughter is actually my grandmother.   I do like to think that my daughter has a little bit of her grandmother in her sometimes though.

I believe in reincarnation but I do not think the soul is ever reborn to the same family.

Lol. Yea. I recongized it after just watching Lost not too long ago on Netflix. I liked Sawyer.

Do you mean while a fetus? I believe the fetus is being prepared for the soul and it is possible for the soul to go in and out of the fetus but I don't believe the soul permanently enters until birth.

Not always but it is unusually common

My DH's paternal grandmother died while I was pregnant with our 1st (girl) and his maternal grandmother died while I was pregnant with our 2nd(also a girl).
Who knows if it's just coincidence or not, but it is fun and interesting to think about.

I don't disbelieve the theory. But I've done a lot of reading on the subject of reincarnation, and a widely held modern belief is that souls typically take a long time to return to earth. Coming back soon is very rare, according to what I've read recently. Who knows? It's a nice thought. My husband's father passed away several years ago, and the first time my husband saw his new nephew, he was overcome with the feeling that his nephew was his father reincarnated, and my husband isn't even into all that reincarnation "stuff." lol

No one died before or during my pregnancy with my daughter.

my mother and my grandfather both died in 1999. There were no babies born to anyone at all in my family until 2007.

I do believe in reincarnation, but I don't think that birth and death in a specific family is contingent on that at all.

I think there are 7 levels of consciousness, and every time we leave a level (or die), we either accomplished what we needed to at that level and move forward, or go back to the same level to keep learning the same lesson.
