I feel like I posted this before, but I couldn't find it, so when could your kids tie their shoes? Noah is 7 and can't and feel like smurf. We have tried and tried and he just won't try.

I was 8 when I mastered it.

My son just turned 7 & still can't. He can try, but, uh, no. haha, we're working on it though.

Whew, ok, now I don't feel so horrible. All of the sudden, it occurred to me he couldn't and I thought I was a total failure.

haha, nah   i know what you mean though, and my son usually wears his little boat shoes & others that don't tie, that i honestly forget about it sometimes   i'm sure it'll just click one of these times that they're trying it again for the 3454353th time  

i work in a shoe store and u would be surprised by the amount of 10 and 11 year olds that cant tie their laces.

My daughter has since she was 5.5

My kids were 3 when they learned how to tie their own shoes. They are 10 and 4 now.

my daughter does a pretty good job at trying at 5 but still needs a lil work  

My problem is is that none of her shoes have laces lol. They are the slip on style or sandals ...
