Is she a friend?

Or is it one sided?

I have a friend who is my brothers girlfriend.
We met through my brother. I think she is pretty nice, although, I do not like her parenting style, but as long as it doesnt affect my son, I dont say anything..

anyways...
she does not call me, she does not make the effort to hang out with me or do anything with me.

We did something together on canada day, but since then, she has not called, this has been going on for months now.

I feel liek I should just stop trying with her. I try and call but she doesnt answer, nor does she call me back.

I guess im going to have to just sit back on this and if she does call then it will be a miracle. lol

What would you do in this situation?

let her come around to you.. if she wants to hang out she will make the effort.. you have done all you can do to try and be friends, now its her turn

Just let it go. She doesn't seem interested anymore.

It sucks, and it hurts, but you can't force a friendship.

If you continue to make the effort and she doesn't make one in return, I would just let it be. You can only do so much.

Thats what I was thinking. There MUST be something wrong with me. This has happened to me with most of my friendships.

thats not always such a bad thing.. friends usually bring drama or some sort of problems, especially since she is dating your brother..

honestly, i think it might just be her. it might just not be in her nature right now to get too close to his family. she might not be feeling it like that. really. or, another "for real" is that she might be intimidated by you somehow. although it doesnt sound like you have done anything to make it so.she may really just either not be into getting too close to his family, or she's scared about something. dont take it personally. there is all the time in the world, as long as they are together, yall have time to work it out.

i like my brother's girlfriend. she's nice. but i don't have her phone number, and the only thing i ever text my brother to ask her was if i could borrow her shoes. i have no need to talk to her, she isn't family as of yet and idk. just don't care to be friends with her right now lol
