My Labor Story =] [pictures]

well Tuesday night i started having contractions about 10-15 min apart and then as the night whent on they got closer and closer together, till they were about 5-6, i was on BG all night becasue i couldnt sleep threw them, i called L&D Wensday morning to see if i shoulc come in becasue i was then contraction every 3-4 min, she said not to come in untill i could no longer stand them, at about 2:30 i had finaly had enough, and i had my mom take me, i got there, got hooked to a bunch of moniters, and then at 4:00i was moved to my birthing room,they hooked me up to anIV and added potacin(sp?) to help push me along becasue i was only 4 cm, i was going to try natural child birth, but i was having back labor like no other, i couldnt even feel my contractions any were eles, just my back. so i finaly caved and got the epi at 5 cm, the first time she gave it to me i had this weird shooting pain down my leg, so she had to take it out and do it all over, my back looks like im some sorta junkie with all the track marks haha, after i got the epi at 7 30 i could relax, i watched some tv, and my FIL insiseted on coming in the room to say hi, wtf?, so i said ok, whatever. he came in and so did my grandparents, my contraction monoter wasnt working so the doctor left to get me a internal one, then all of a suddon i felt this urget to take the worlds largest dump, the doctor came back in to putmy internal moniter on, and as soon as she checked my cervix she said o you dont need this, your ready, i looked at the clock, it was 9:00, i told her it was too soon, and she laughed and walked out of the room, they preped my room, and i started pushing at 9:20, at 9:44, Maddox came screaming in to this world. He had a BM inside so they had to clean out his lungs and every thing before i could hold him.Hegave me a 3rd degree tare   and it took her longer to sew me up then it took to push him out. it all whent freakishly fast,and even though he was a week late id do it all over again he's absolutly perfect  at 6lbs 8oz 19.5 inches

Sounds like some good times! I'm extremely emotional lately so your story made me cry. All these labor stories do hahaha.

Congrats! he's adorable! he was small for being a week late. ^^

He isvery adorable.... I am starting to have nightmares about labor! I only have 10 weeks left, and had the 4D US done yesterday, I can't wait to meet my lil boy! Congrats on your new one.. My sister had a 3rd degree too and it took a while for her to heal, so I hope you heal fast and can enjoy your little one!
