Summer Pregnancy

posted 2nd Jul '12
So its summer and I love to go swimming. I was wondering what some other moms wore to go swimming in during pregnancy. Is wearing a bikini with a baby belly bad? Is it better to just wear a shirt or something?

Wear what ever you want - nothing is "bad."

I figured. Nah, it's not like you can get any pregnanter. Who cares.

I had way too many stretch marks to feel comfortable in a 2 piece, but I think pregnant people in them are flat out smurfing adorable.

I'd rather see pregnant women in Bikinis rather than girls who shouldn't be wearing them...and I'm fat...lol so I'm not being mean or prejudice...I just think only certain people should wear bikinis..like not people of my size..or people that have stomachs that cover their vaginas...or people with their ass cheeks hanging out...just my opinion. haha.

I'd love to see more preggo mommas in bikinis! haha.

I wear my bikini and my bump is huge lol. There's nothing wrong with it, I see a lot of pregnant women in bikinis at the pool every year.

I have been miserable because I love swimming and all i have been doing is dipping my feet in while the kids swim because I won't get in a suit, way to self conscious. But think you should wear what ever you want, I wish I was more comfortable with myself to say the heck with it and be comfortable. If your comfy doing it go for it. Hell if anyone has the right to cool off in the middle of the summer it's you.

I only got a chance to wear a bikini once while I was pregnant, but I wish I could've done it more. I think all pregnant women should! (If they feel comfortable) I think pregnant is beautiful!

I went swimming in my bikini at 4 months pregnant and just felt that I looked plump. But my family and I hit the beach today and even though I was busting out cuz I'm 30 weeks now, I had a great time and didn't get any weird looks from anyone. And I fully expected some

I totally rock my bikini. I didn't feel comfortable wearing it in public when I wasn't pregnant but now I pretty much don't care they can stare at my stretch marks all they want. I am also 37.4 weeks and I am so huge that maternity suits don't even go over my stomach so that is my only choice and its frikkin hot in FL right now I am going in the pool lol

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Who cares what everyone else thinks. I got a 2-piece maternity bathing suit but swimming is honestly the last thing I want to do these days. I only wore it once and now i'm 37 weeks. My cousin would just go in shorts and a shirt but honestly, it's up to you.
