Toddler broken nose

Okay, I am not sure if her nose is broken but it is crooked and swollen, seems to be a slight bluish purple in a few spots. My daughter already mouth breathes because she has some undiagnosed medical problems (at least I think but haven't seen the doctor about it yet). She fells asleep almost instantly after the fall.

We were at the playground and she fell off of one of those climbing gyms (the metal ones) and hit her nose and mouth and busted her lip. She has a hearing loss and balance problems. I had been yelling at her right before it happened to get down but she didn't hear me.

Should I be worried and take her to the ER?
I don't have ice here so ice packs are out of the question and my husband is still at work. We only have one vehicle so I'm having to wait because I doubt an ambulance would let my 5 year old ride to the hospital with me. I am so worried!  

she may have broken it. when my daughter got bit by a dog and no one was home we rode in the ambulance together then SO picked us up from the hospital since he was at work. Good luck & hope everything turns out okay!

Well....yeah. take her to the ER.
She could have a cracked upper jaw..and if her nose is broken and heals wrong it'll have to be re-broken to be set..

I'd go ahead and take her.

Because she already has medical issues, I would take her in just to be safe.

Call an ambulance. She should have been in he ER right after it happened.

yes... if it looks 'off' then she may need it to be readjusted. better be safe than sorry

Take her. And you shouldn't let her sleep if she hit that hard she could have a concussion.

I already know this but I can't wake her up. I tried.

dude, call 911. your kid could have a severe head injury.

Yes....it can still be broken.

If you can't wake her up, call an ambulance immediately.

I'd definitely take her. Can you get a neighbor/friend to watch the 5 year old?

On the undiagnosed thing, have her tonsils and adenoids checked out. I had to get those all removed plus bone sawed out before I could breathe through my mouth without passing out. It made any upper respiratory infection pure hell.
