Actually brain development is crucial in the last few weeks of pregnancy and since your due date is only an estimate and can be off by as much as two weeks- which means a 37 week baby could really only be 35 weeks.

oh yea that is very tru ....good thing my LO is measured at 38.6 as of last week...

will do.... might be this week had my half way bloody show (brown discharge or something) today also its something going on with my feet they got like this in the matter of mins.....this is gross lol my hand and cheek is the same way along with my leg ....so idk wat to do at all......but i think if i go in LIKE THEY TOLD ME TOO IF THIS HAPPENS they just gon send me home and im to much on the brink of a break down to go thru that again

oh wow! my feet have swollen, but not that much. and it's only my feet not face or anything. are you sure its not pre eclampsia? i think you should call your dr and tell him you are swelling everywhere and see what he says, just to be safe.

ive went in to l&d they told me last time it was dehydration....but that was from a mid wife and not a doc ill c my doc tomorrow so she can see herself

i was ready the first page and i love how most everyone is like just wait and baby will come when their ready... but their all due in dec and jan. so their not huge or having to deal with the last couple weeks of pregnanacy. i undersatnd girl its getting really misrable cuz i know i am,,,,,,, im 38 weeks too but what i dont get is ur due dat is the 15th and mine is the 21st...? i just turned 38 weeks on saturday but ne way hang in there were almost there

well when i posted this last week i was 38 weeks, i'm 39 as of yesterday lol. and thanks yeah i'm being patient haha. even though i'm in so much pain right now, as we speak, i'm not sure what's wrong with me. it's just like a constant cramping feeling in my lower abdomen and it's been hurting me for the past like twenty minutes. UGH

oooooh lol i see now lmao. i know what u mean iv been haveing cramps for a couple weeks now and i feel like somethings up but i think im just paranoid lol. and my back is killing me along with my ribs oh and im swelling up like a ballon lol. the only thing iv done so far to try to induce labor is sex and it hasnt helped cuz my LO isnt ready yet   im to scared to try anything else well beside walking. but i swear when u get this far along u dont want to walk cuz every thing hurts or its just to exhasting lol

yeah, sex isn't an option for me, but if he's not out by friday i'm going to do some serious walking this weekend haha. i just am worried i'm going to be late. other then a few contractions i haven't noticed anything different. no bloody show, water breaking, or anything. haha

I can't remember exactly if it's 36-40 weeks that the brain grows substantially, but it's somewhere in the last bit of weeks, so I know it's miserable at times these last few weeks but in my opinion and recommendation I'd just during normal walking for exercise to get you ready for labor and just as much as possible try to enjoy these last few weeks prego!  try n get things ready, and maybe do some stuff you might not have time for after the baby is born, keep busy, it'll help you stay active and take your mind off waiting!  I'm 38 weeks in a couple of days and trust me I want this baby to come now too, i can't breathe at times, I feel like I'm carrying twins, but I want my baby as healthy as possible and hey if he can get its brain a little bit bigger by staying longer, then sounds great to me!  good luck!

well my patience paid off...i stopped thinking about it and focused on my induction date and outta the blue i go in labor lol.....i think the key might have been that i stopped worrying and thought about other things...only thing that i was doing was counting down the days but other than that it was making sure i had everything else in place lol

Its saturday is ur LO here yet? And i know me either i didnt know i was contracting and my doc pointed it out when i was in the doctors yesterday lol but when she checked me i was bleeding and she disnt.even tell me that was normal... I dislike my doc!
