I lost my mucus plug yesterday. About an hour and a half ago, my contractions started getting REALLY painful and 4 - 6 minutes apart. I called L&D and they said to take a hot shower or bath and wait until they're 3 minutes apart. So, I'm off to the shower. Wish me luck! I want him out of me NOW!!! I have been absolutely miserable and uncomfortable these past couple days. And the doctor hasn't mentioned ANYTHING about inducing me... so, really... THIS BETTER BE IT DAMMIT!!!

Goodluck & lots and lots of labor dust to you!!! You'll have to keep us updated and make sure you take lots of pictures if this is really it!

So...
I took the shower and the contractions continued. They got more intense in pain and closer together. When they got to be 3 minutes apart, I called L&D and told them I was coming in. Right before we left, I peed and when I wiped, there was some bloody show. So, I get to the hospital (still contracting) and they get me settled in my room. As soon as they hooked me up to the contraction monitor, the contractions stopped. Un - freaking - believable!!! They had me hooked up to that monitor for 2 hours and during that 2 hours I had a total of TWO contractions!!! UGH! I'm not dilated at all, but, I'm 50% effaced. The doctor said that I'll probably be induced next week if I don't go naturally soon. I guess my belly is just the place to be. LOL
