Me either. Sigh*
OP- not all teen moms fail. Plenty of us succeed, and do what the right thing for our children. On the other hand, plenty out there don't. It's up to you which percentage your going to fall into. It doesn't matter what other people think, just do what you have to raise your child the best you can.

have you ever babysat for more then one day/night? being a mother is hard but if you have the ambition and determination you can do it im pregnant with my first but practically raised my niece till she was about a year old and i was 16 then...its REALLY HARD especially if you are going to school cause you will be up every few hours with the baby and then have to get up and go to school all day..but dont drop out of school because you have a baby then you will not be able to get a decent job to support him/her the absolute worst thing you can do for your baby at this point is drop out of school

Don't forget the ones that drink a fake bottle and cry for all of 5 minutes. Totally the same thing. I mean as long as you have had one of those, you totally know what your in for.

Answer one thing (if you want of course)
What do you have to prove to a bunch of strangers? Why do you have to prove yourself to the world?
If what you say it's true...and you are indeed going to be a good mother, and you have a wonderful husband, and are going to have a baby, what else matters?

I'm not dropping out of school just so people know that. I'll be starting at Florence Crittenton a school for pregnant, and mothering teens in the fall in Lexington KY. I have babysat for more than a week when my father couldn't take care of my step brother.. I realise this isn't going to be easy, I never thought it would be; but I know I can do it.

Honestly, you are completely naive if you believe that things aren't going to be difficult.

You are a 16 year old child who is playing house. Married/pregnant or not, you are still a child.

Well don't act surprised. How do you expect people to be like? You're 16. A kid having a kid. You will get looks and people talking about you after you have the baby too. I'm 21 and i get it all the time from people when i go out with my 3 mo old. You'll get used to it. You sound like you'll be a great mother already.

Babysitting for any amount of time doesn't compare to the 24/7/365 demands of motherhood. Just so you know.

And for the record, I was about the dumbest pregnant teen smurf alive at 14. Then smurf got real and I had to learn my lessons the hard way. Which is why I encourage you not to be like that and do take advice from other people who know better.
