People really irk my nerves with this, (venting)

It never fails me, when people see my daughter's father, they immediately question if he just "stepped in" for the "real" dad. They don't believe that she is his. I know I shouldn't care, but to me, it's as if someone is scratching a chalkboard! It's not necessarily them wanting to know, but more so the way they ask / say it. Rude comments, & snide remarks are a daily thing, it seems like!
"Where's the milkman".
"Are you sure you brought the right baby home"
"Better go check on that"
& what really got to me:
"He's a nice man to take care of another man's mistake"
I might just go all ape on someone, one day! -______-

My daughter's father is African American & she doesn't favor him in the least. I presonally, can see him in her .. SO MUCH! She is very light, her hair has loose curls, her eyes are blue, etc. We have gotten a DNA test, because he questioned her being his, because of all the rude remarks & gossip. She is positively his, 1OO%.

*shrug* He's light skinned. My XH and I both have dark hair, and my daughter is blonde, heh. DNA is a funny thing.

Full black, but he probably has some white somewhere down the line. His father is light skinned, & his mom is darker.

I used to say it was the room service guy. We lived in a hotel when LO was conceived, haha.

I know how you feel. Everyone asks if my son is mixed or I shouldn't say they ask they tell me he is. It pisses me off because he isn't. This is me and him, I personally don't think he looks mixed at all but apparently he does.

But, he looks just like you!   Hmm .. I don't know if he looks so much mixed, he just looks like he has darker features .. but it looks like you do too. So yea .. lol I don't think he looks mixed.

lol thank you. He looks even more like my little brother, if my brother was still an infant they could be twins lol My grandpa is full blown indian so that is where we get our dark features people are just so rude. I was in the hospital and the nurse goes "Oh my what a cute mixed baby! I feel so bad for you having to fix the nappy hair all the time though but his hair is short now so you don't have that problem." I was just in shock I wouldn't even say that if I knew a baby was mixed..

  Some people are so ignorant! Ugh! It's so annoying when a person says something like "that is such a cute mixed baby" . . um, what does the baby being mixed have to do with it being cute? I just want to go on a slapping spree sometimes.
