Stairs safe or not?

I was told by my grandma that it's not safe to climb stairs to much in a day. I was worrying it that true or not?

why wouldnt it be safe? did she give anys ort of reason? sounds silly besides you just dont want to exhaust yourself

I live in a 2nd floor and i went up and down the stairs nearly everyday in my pregnancy. Walkin up and down the stairs in fine :-) its excersies

She was told by her doctor to only do it twice a day. To go to bed & to wake up. So I was just wondering?

Did she also tell you not to raise your arms above your head?

well did she have any complications through her pregnancy maybe?

No not until after her pregnancy the second time.

Well, I mean, I wouldn't recommended hauling ass up and down flights of stairs all day, but aside from that ...

my doctor said something about it too! & no there is NO complications or anything of that sort, also said depending on how far along I was how many times it was safe to bend per hour, not to climb a ladder, & not to lift so many pounds depending on how far along i was. So I'm guessing that if you do it excessively or whatever it can be an issue? I'm not too sure..

I usually don't. I go up to go to bed but have to pee so much after going up so I have to come back down to go to the bathroom.

I also live in an apartment on the second floor so i have to go up and down the steps every day and it hasn't caused any problems for me...

I've never heard of that. Unless you plan on jumping up and down on them or something ridiculous? I was told not to do stairs for the first week after my c-section, but that's a different story.
