convertible car seat

I need another car seat that is inexpensive. I would really (REALLY) like to have lock offs but it's okay. I just want one that has nice safety features. Any suggestions?

What do you consider inexpensive?

not sure. I bought a cosco one for my son and it was horrible for RF. I got britax's now for both my kids and love them but they're definitely not cheap
