re: Do they really not know they were pregnant ?

It is very possible. I knew someone that had health issues and she found out she was pregnant, after getting an ultrasound done she discovered she was going into her 9th month of pregnancy and she had her baby a couple weeks after hearing the news. She didn't look pregnant and she was a tiny girl.

It depends on the position of the uterus. We had a woman on here not how at all and she went to term.

A friend of mine went to the ER a few months ago because she thought she had a very bad bladder infection because she was hurting down there. The nurse wanted a urine sample from her and when she got up to go to the bathroom to get the sample and the baby started to come out. She had no clue she was pregnant. She had diabetes so her cycles were off anyway and the meds made her feel weird anyway. I thought those shows were fake too until my friend went through it herself. Just weird but I'm sure it can happen.

Something I've noticed is that not only are most of those women overweight (that's kind of a given) but almost all of them experience back labor. This explains a lot, although I still find it pretty incredible.

I don't know. I watch that show all the time and I just have to say that I would love a pregnancy with no weight gain, morning sickness, heartburn

It would be nice to get to the end of pregnancy and then find out ! for me only because im impatient and counting down the weeks days hours and minutes is starting to make me feel I may be suffering an OCD

My sister didn't know until she was in labor... so yes it happens.
For me, I was so freakishly little during my pregnancy and bled all throughout it that if I didn't have any other symptoms I would probably never think I was pregnant.

I dont know how someone can go the whole pregnancy without knowing but I can understand how someone could go a few months without knowing. I have PCOS and went a year without a natural period. My DH and I were TTC so I was peeing on a stick every month but for someone who is not TTC and not havng any symptoms I can see how they would find out later on.

I went to school with a girl who didn't know. She was the tiniest thing ever. She was 15 and a double 0 and stayed that way the whole time. No one knew or suspected it all. She had her son in her bath tub by herself she thought she had really bad cramps. Her son was born full term and weighed only 3lbs.
So ya I do believe it can happen.

I definitely think it's possible to not know. It happened to one of my highschool teacher's daughters. I mean, I had every symptom in the book so I knew I was prego but I'm a smaller, short person and I almost never showed. So, I can see how a person might miss it if they don't have any symptoms. It's hard to imagine someone not feeling movement but my mom said she never felt me move in utero, and she was a small person too.

A girl I grew up with just found out she was pregnant a month ago, last week she gave birth to a premature and absolutely adorable little boy. She only found out because she went to the doctor and had lab work done for some medication she was on, they called her back and told her they estimated she was about 7 weeks.. Sent her for a sonogram and found out she was about 30 weeks... Crazy stuff.

lol yea there is really no way to know at 4 weeks, esp. if you're nor having morning sickness or anything, 4 weeks is just
barely pregnant.

I actually do know someone this happened to. I always had a hard time believing it was possible, too. She wasn't a huge girl but she always for as long as I've known her, had one of those bellies that naturally looks about 5 months pregnant. She didn't miss a single period, never felt sick, no kicks, nothing.. She ended up having really bad pains and thought it was her kidneys, she went to the hospital and found out she was 10cm dilated, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl shortly after finding out, If I remember correctly, the baby was about 5lbs.. she's almost two now. My oldest was only about 6 months at that and her sister was calling me asking if I had any baby clothes to donate.. they had nothing, she really didn't suspect a thing.

I believe it can happen, sure!
There were points in my pregnancy where I couldn't feel my son move at all and I was only a month away from giving birth - my midwife told me that there are a number of factors that can do that. I've also seen women who don't gain any weight at all and such.....
I knew a girl who didn't know she was pregnant until she was like 37 weeks or something.

One of my friends didn't know until she was 6 1/2 months along. We worked together and went to school together at that time. She had no symptoms at all, and didn't look pregnant until about 7 1/2-8 months pregnant.
