no, not usually. you need an antibiotic to treat a yeast infection. AZO just helps prevent them.

Plain yogurt on a tampon applicator. Just kind of smear the yogurt around and go to bed.

Eat lots of yogurt! Greek yogurt works the fastest, for me, anyway.

I understand your hesitation, but the doctor wouldn't have prescribed you anything that wasn't safe at this point in your pregnancy. In fact, not treating the yeast infection quickly and properly is more dangerous than the drug would be because it can cause preterm labor and affect the baby. If you're still concerned about it, call your doctor and ask questions so you can be aware of all the side effects. They will be more than happy to put your mind at ease as well as make you aware of the risks of treatments vs non treatment.

That's the only thing I've ever used to cure them and it works...

Eating yogurt will help prevent it. Putting it on the infection site will help cure it.

I just got over one by taking probiotics. A natural supplement it comes in a chewable too it's called Acidophilus with Bifidum. They sell it at CVS, or other pharmacies. Within two to three days I was having NO signs on a yeast infection. I hesitated too, especially after I read the warnings online!! Although the doctors say it's safe their are always side effects. Yogurt works too, the only thing with that is sugar breaks down your immune system so unless it's a low sugar yogurt it might take longer.
