Nook color?

I'm thinking about getting one. I have an old school kindle but I really want a nook. Love it? Hate it? Recommend something else?

Love it, but recommend the kindle fire instead.

Go kindle fire. I have that and love it my mom has a nook and it super jealous of it.

Hmmm I haven't rly looked at the fire yet.

What does the kindle offer that the nook doesn't?

The kindle fire is much faster, and has better apps etc. I can't explain why I like it more   I just do...

I don't know which nook you're looking at but with my kindle, besides books on it I watch shows and movies, access to all of amazon, fun apps that my kid loves, long battery life, oh and with prime you watch almost all movies and shows free instantly. My internet works awesome on it.
