My daughters loved them at 2. I couldn't tell you what they did last year at 3 because I was in the hospital and they were with my husband and my parents. From what my husband says, the girls loved them. My son was 2 days shy of being 1 and couldn't have cared less.

I say go for it! You can always leave if your LO is frightened!

i usally let my kids stay up a lil late so they can see the fireworks, their bedtime is 8pm too   my son is almost 4 and is super stoked!

My daughter isn't 3 yet but I would take her for sure.

4th of July only comes once a year, and they are only a child once.

I will take my 4 month old this year, next year and every year after.

I am sure he would have a ball, take him!

3 was his first time going and he loved it. we went to 2 sets of fireworks.. one i had to put my hands over his ears because we were so close to where they set them off

My in laws took my oldest to the fireworks last year. He was a couple of months short of 3 then and he talked about it for WEEKS afterwards. He loved it. I would take him, it's not something that happens all the time and he is old enough to enjoy it.

I started taking Kaelyn at 2. She LOVES fireworks!  

id say try at least... my little man loved the ones we had last night, until he was too tired to care and fell asleep... lol
