I don't blame you. I had to do self injections after the dr cut off part of my pancreas and lacerated my liver. While they didn't hurt that bad (I learned to inject at an angle), I would always psych myself out about and the thought of having to remember to do it every few hours was more than I can bare. I have a new found respect for those that have to self inject for life.

Yeah its the main reason I dont want another pregnancy.. I went through a lot of painful MC's too that were devastating to me trying to get pregnant with my daughter, I just am scared to go through so much all over again I guess. I feel like I have my blessings.

My son I didnt know about my disorder and wasnt on the proper meds I should have been and he tried to come 9 weeks early but thankfully was term and healthy, Then everything I went through before my daughter and now just to be pregnant with her   It selfish of me but its just really hard.

I am at 22 weeks pregnant and my son moves about every 8 hours which worries me. When he does move its for about 30secs to 1 minute and then I won't feel him again for like 4-8 hours. His kicks are getting more powerful, but I am the only one who can feel him. It feels as if he is kicking downward towards my lady parts instead of out towards my stomach.

Oh same here!!! Mines only during pregnancy, I couldnt do this for life.. I mean its hard physically but also mentally its frustrating and depressing. Even though I love my daughter and wouldnt change it for the world, Idk if I can do it again.

neither one of my kicks kicked out, it was down up or my sides.

I really don't blame you. I mean I can't relate to everything but I have had one miscarriage and even that was very hard on me much less everything you've got on top of that. It has had to of taken a toll on you.

You've obviously went through a lot to have what will be two healthy pregnancies and children. That's unselfish in itself and I understand why you aren't really wanting another pregnancy.

I guess I feel its selfish since SO wants more and doesnt want me to have my tubs tied lol and I do love kids and I know Ill forget the pain soon after. But still lol

Your SO has to take your health into consideration. We decided no more for us because the risks on my health were too great. I already have 3 kids that need me, why risk my life for another? Never mind that my blood disease is genetic. had I known I had this before the twins, I probably wouldn't have had children. I don't want them to go thru what I have. So far, all three don't show signs of it so we are good. I wouldn't want to chance another child having it.

Until the day he was born I would get worried if he didn't move much. Even now when he is sleeping I will make sure he is still breathing. You're a mom, it's natural to worry

My cousins wife has this. She has had it her entire life but it took her losing a baby at 7 months gestation, another at 20 weeks and finally a third at 17 weeks for them to start figuring out what her situation is. She is currently 33 weeks into a healthy pregnancy. Scary business

I had my son then I lost 4 pregnancies until they finally tested me for anything, then lost 5 more before having a pregnancy stick.

I have a total of 5 losses and several years without a single glimpse of pregnancy. I actually went thru the pregnancy with my twins without even a thought. I ended up in the hospital with my son where my hematocrit was 6 while on Vaca. They immediately sent in an oncologist and he started running a few tests. I was then referred to another oncologist to finally figure out what was going on. After 2 years of bi weekly blood transfusions they finally decided to take my spleen.
