2cm 80% effaced, -1 station, lost the mucus plug this mornin

I am 39 weeks and 4 days pregnant with my second child. 3 days ago at my last appointment I was told I am 2 cm dialated. 80% effaced. at -1 station. and had my membranes stripped. 10 hours ago i lost my mucus plug, it was large and a reddish brown color, little clear. Everytime I go to the bathroom I notice light pink discharge, my contractions are irregular. When will labor start ((I know everyone is different))

My midwife said to call her if my water breaks or contractions are 5 minutes apart regularly for 1 hour... and she guesses 24-48 hours I will be holding my daughter... 12 hours later and I am becoming discouraged.

You're kind of in early early labor.   Lucky! I lost my mucous plug with my first at like 32 weeks...and he didn't arrive til almost 42 weeks! LOL.

You could have irregular contractions for days though...sorry.  

i have been 3cm for a week now and still nothing. i lost my plug two weeks ago and i am going in monday to be induced. i will be 41 week 3 days

ekk. Good luck! I definately dont want to be induced ( i was with my first child)

I walked around uncorked and 4cm 80% for a month before I had to be induced.

You're probably not even close.

Thanks! I was induced with my first at 40 weeks and 4 days and didnt lose my mucus plug so i was hoping it would be soon. i hate the irregular contractions they are painful (more uncomfortable) and really driving me crazy... ready to have my little girl

Well I am 3 days away from my due date so atleast I know they wont let me walk around like this for a month lol a week and 3 days they will induce... and at that point i will agree to it lol
