mirena and cervix dialating..

So I post a lot of stuff about mirena. But I've had mire a since January 20th. I checked to be sure the strings are in place and my cervix is dialated about 2cm (I know how to self check my cervix for dialation and effacement). I'm deffinately getting it taken out but I was wondering if that's normal. I've also been cramping and having trouble peeing. Probably tmi but oh well. Anyone know if that's normal or not?

A lot of mothers will have an open cervix after giving birth. Even mine is slightly open (well..it usually is..I haven't felt up there since I got pregnant) and I didn't push my kid out, I just dilated. Also, your cervix can be open and closed at different times of the month as well. I HATE mirena. I had it for three years...and I will NEVER have another birth control (other than condoms!) ever again.
