stroller question

Ok ..so this is my 1st baby and I have to admit that I'm totally clueless ..I was thinking of getting a travel system for my little girl ..maybe this one...

But, my husband and I do a lot of walking around in the city ..like 10 or more blocks at a time often ..will this sort of stroller be apropriate for that sort of thing , comfortable for the baby, and will it be durable enough under those conditions ?
Would I be better off with a jogging stroller , and can I even use a jogging stroller for a newborn ?
Is there another option that I should consider ? There are soo many choices that I'm a bit overwhelmed ....help!!

I really enjoy my travel stroller.
I live in the country and go walking on the county roads and its really convenient when we go shopping, I just pick her car seat up and sit it in the stroller. It is kinda heavy put its worth it to me for now.

wow!! I don't know how I missed that ...I am going to blame it on baby brain ..

what is your price budget. The travel systems are not really good for alot of city walking. I have a phil and teds and love it. It can be used with a graco stroller. It also lays flat for an infant. It runs about $400. Im in an airport but I have a few more strollers saved on my computer that I can give you in the morning. A good city stroller is going to cost you between $250-$500 or more. So im not sure whats in your price range.

I honestly regret getting a travel system. The Bob Revolution has an infant carrier attachment. It's a great jogging/walking stroller.

Well I love the stroller combo. I have the graco winnie the pooh one from 3 years ago. I don't do a lot of walking but I took it with me to work every day since my son came with me and its still holding up very well and its on the second kid now. (I would walk there sometimes too, 4 blocks there and back.)
Definately get a combo wether its the graco one or a jogging one. It can be a lifesaver for when you don't want to wake a sleeping baby.

I have this stroller and carseat that hooks into the stroller and it is great. I use it a lot in the city and it can go off road. We spend the hours walking around central park sometimes with the stroller and it's great. He's nice and cozy in his carseat and you can pull the shade of the carseat and the stroller one and it becomes like a cocoon. It's also waterproof. I've been caught in the rain and Jayden stayed perfectly dry. The carseat also has a newborn insert that keeps his head in place. And it's really easy to use! I love it!!!

i got a travel system too. I havent used it with my baby yet... 35 more days =] but, I got the graco metrolite travel system from babies r us... its the cherry blossom print.. it seems really nice.

I really like that print and style too!! I've been eyeing all the gear in that collection!!!
My silly , and practical husband keeps insisting that we get something neutral ..just in case the next one is a boy ....darn him!!!

My sister has that stroller and love its. I totaly forgot baby trend had joggers. Baby trend is a great company and thay have really car seats. that jogger should be great for what you need and is also a jogger you can it to the mall. other companys with good strollers are bob and the dreamer desgin. I now they have one called park avenue I just dont know how much they cost. but baby trend is a good stroller.

i have the alano.. but its pink... it looks good havent used it yet though, i havent even tired it out in the car. its pretty sturdy. i like looking at it =]
