So sick of the idiots at this urgent care!

So my youngest DD just got out of the hospital for dehydration, they ran all sorts of tests to figure out why she was sick with a rash , diareah, vomiting etc.. found nothing. Oldest DD, I have thought she has had a staph infection for a few days now because my mom friend has one, and is in the hospital getting part of her arm removed as we speak. Anyways, we are home, Oldest DD gets an unexplained rash around her eye , and this is after having an un explained sore on her foot the other day and other rashes, I had DH take her to the doctor, HORRIBLE IDEA. He told them about my moms friend who has staph, they laughed at him and told him there was no need to test. WELL, she is still getting random rashes, and the idiots at the urgent care told us they wont freaking test her for it!! I am furious right now.I also looked online and saw that the symptoms my youngest DD was having, are all symptoms of staph. What would you do? Should I wait it out until Monday and take them to their pedi, or go try to deal with the terrible doctors at the urgent care? If she does have this like my motherly intuition is telling me, is it detremental that I take her now?! Tia. Ps I litterally just got home from a two day stay with my youngest DD so they will probably think I am nuts... sigh

My daughter had a staph infection a couple of months ago.. Trust me.. you would know Its painful for them and pretty sure the doctors know what they are talking about.

Do you happen to live in west michigan because I'm having the same problem with the urgant care for my DD. she won't stop puking, but doesn't have reflux (they did give her an ultrasound to check so at least they did something) so now I have to feed her only 4 oz at a time and half the bottle has to be cereal (she was eating 6oz no cereal but at 4 months she still hasn't doubled her birth weight). She's still puking but they won't do anything because she doesn't have a fever.
If its not to far away I would go to another hospital. If not, and you feel it can wait I'd wait till Monday otherwise I'd bring her in again. JMO

I am sorry to hear that. Poor baby.
I agree ,most doctors do, but this urgent care is notorious for mess ups. Like mis diaganosis.. But, it's the only one in the are who accepts our insurance so we dont have much of a choice. He barely speaks english, and I know of two other people who have taken sick babies there, and he didnt catch what was wrong.

We live in Rochester! I have heard of numerous complaints of urgent cares in MI in general. What one do you guys go to? It is SOOO beyond frusterating, isn't it??? Some doctors truly care about the patients, others, sadly, just about the money.

Honestly I wouldn't have bothered with urgent care to begin with. As soon as the rash popped up I would have taken her to see her regular pedi. I'd wait and see your pediatrician if you don't think that urgent care will do anything.

I have an apointment July 5th, that's the soonest they could see her :/

We go to Zeeland because her current dr is the only one we could find taking Medicaid :/ I hate it because they told us that her dr might want to put her on meds (her dr is on vacation until the 20th!) or if she doesn't start putting on weight then she might need tubes in her stomach but not to worry about it and they sent us home and told us to come back if she gets a fever. Really?! I've been doing nothing but freakin lol

I am just going to take her monday and see if they will just see her though, they take forever to get into . I need to find a new one . Have you had a bad expierence with urgent care too?? I feel like they really dont know what theyre talking about.

That sucks. See our pedi, in an urgent situation, will get them in same day even if we have to sit for a few hours.

Ahhh! I would be too. I am freaking out over this rash and everything, I know how it is, trust me. I hope you find a better doctor! Send me their number if you do, we also have state insurance for both DD's at the moment.

You are lucky, they tell us to go to the ER or urgent care...

Yeah our ER and Urgent Care suck to high heaven. Asshats told me that my intestinal bleeding was hemrhoids
